AMC-6-2

Antenna Multicoupler, First manufactured in 1953 by TMC Limited, Ottawa Canada and Mamaroneck NY, this device is a broadband RF amplifier which allowed a common antenna to drive up to six different receivers in the range between 2 and 30 Mcs. A switchable filter would provide 35 db attenuation against interference from signals below 1.5 Mcs and each output port provides 10 db gain when the filter is switched in. Dimensions: 8.75" H x 10"W x 11" D. Weight - 37 pounds. Power input - 115/230VAC, 60 Hz, 90 watts. A number of different model numbers were built depending on the impedance of the input antenna (50 to 600 ohms, balanced/unbalanced) and the number of outputs required.
